52 Lime Street, also known as The Scalpel, is a striking 42-storey office tower and a noteworthy addition to the heart of the City of London.
Architects KPF specified AGC ipasol Shine 49/28 for the facade of this sleek and geometrical newcomer to the City skyline.
ipasol high-performance glass maximises internal natural daylight, minimises solar gain to prevent overheating and reduces heat loss through the glass in winter. In addition, low-iron glass was specified to ensure the highest level of colour rendering.
The Scalpel has been awarded the BREEAM Excellent rating.
