Matelac products offer endless possibilities, such as wall and furniture cladding for any interior design project. It combines subtly with a wide variety of materials, including wood, stone and metal. If you need enhanced safety for a specific application, a transparent polypropylene SAFE+ film can be applied to the painted side of Matelac to ensure, in case of breakage, that the glass fragments are held together, thus preventing injuries. When we recognised that our market was struggling to differentiate between environmentally ‘clean’ products and others, we set out to find a third-party product standard that would ensure that our products with better environmental performance could be easily differentiated from others on the market.
Matelac Applications

Glass splashbacks are not only beautiful but also very practical. The glass is often in a single piece, depending on the size of the splashback, making it easy to clean.

Another important use of glass in the building was as decoration in the elevators, where we used three different colours of AGC Matelac. Matelac glass has a matt finish, but it's still glass in terms of maintenance, durability and appearance. It’s exactly what we were looking for.
