To contribute to a sustainable world, AGC Glass Europe is committed to developing products that promote sustainable development, and to reducing the environmental impact of its production processes. Today, the Group is taking its sustainable approach one step further as it announces a new glass range with a significantly reduced carbon footprint, to be launched by the end of 2022. Details will be provided at a press conference at glasstec 2022 in Düsseldorf in September.

The AGC Glass Thickness Calculator has been upgraded with ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) standards. 

Widely used by architects and designers in projects that demand superb transparency, Planibel Clearvision is the perfect choice when crystal-clear vision and total clarity count. With the introduction of two new thicknesses, the Clearvision range now offers a wide variety of thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 19 mm, enabling top designers and furniture makers to work with thicker low-iron glass for larger pieces.

Our Sustainability Report is now online on www.agc-glass.eu and covers the environmental achievements for 2020 of AGC Glass Europe, operating with 2 divisions (Building & Industrial Glass Division and Automotive Division). These achievements are the results of the continuous commitment of all the sites of AGC Glass Europe to more sustainable production operations and greener products and services.
