Combines the performance of Strong PVB with Clearlite float glass.
Stratobel Strong is a laminated glass product incorporating a plastic film that is much stiffer than the PVB interlayers usually used in conventional safety and security glazing. Its stronger composition delivers enhanced mechanical properties. For certain loads, the thickness of the glass can be reduced, resulting in a thinner, lighter assembly allowing architects to create large-scale designs. Under certain conditions, heat-strengthening may no longer be necessary (resulting in lower costs, shorter delivery times, improved appearance, etc.).
Strong PVB adheres better to the glass and is therefore less sensitive to moisture and edge corrosion.
Developed for AGC, this special PVB film also features a unique, perfectly neutral appearance. This is especially noticeable when AGC’s highly transparent Planibel Clearvision is used in the Stratobel Strong assembly.

When we recognised that our market was struggling to differentiate between environmentally ‘clean’ products and others, we set out to find a third-party product standard that would ensure that our products with better environmental performance could be easily differentiated from others on the market.
