To contribute to a sustainable world, AGC Glass Europe is committed to developing products that promote sustainable development, and to reducing the environmental impact of its production processes. Today, the Group is taking its sustainable approach one step further as it announces a new glass range with a significantly reduced carbon footprint, to be launched by the end of 2022. Details will be provided at a press conference at glasstec 2022 in Düsseldorf in September.

The AGC Glass Thickness Calculator has been upgraded with ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) standards. 

Our Sustainability Report is now online on www.agc-glass.eu and covers the environmental achievements for 2020 of AGC Glass Europe, operating with 2 divisions (Building & Industrial Glass Division and Automotive Division). These achievements are the results of the continuous commitment of all the sites of AGC Glass Europe to more sustainable production operations and greener products and services.

After already good collaboration AGC Glass Europe and Schüco now have agreed to enter into a strategic development cooperation to pool know-how and technical expertise, exploit synergies in research and so actively promote the development of forward-looking solutions with vacuum insulating glass and aluminium systems.
