Matelac is clear glass painted on one side with high-quality paint and acid-etched on the other side. The matt look of Matelac combines seamlessly with its glossy alter ego Lacobel.
Matelac products offer endless possibilities, such as wall and furniture cladding for any interior design project. It combines subtly with a wide variety of materials, including wood, stone and metal. If you need enhanced safety for a specific application, a transparent polypropylene SAFE+ film can be applied to the painted side of Matelac to ensure, in case of breakage, that the glass fragments are held together, thus preventing injuries. Matelac matt painted glass is available in 7 colours.

Glass splashbacks are not only beautiful but also very practical. The glass is often in a single piece, depending on the size of the splashback, making it easy to clean.
Wall cladding made of glass can be used in various rooms and applications in homes and bulidings. Not only does it give that extra touch to your interior, but it is customisable in any colour or pattern, easy to keep clean and harder to damage than other materials.
Another important use of glass in the building was as decoration in the elevators, where we used three different colours of AGC Matelac. Matelac glass has a matt finish, but it's still glass in terms of maintenance, durability and appearance. It’s exactly what we were looking for.
