The old post office in the city of Logroño, Spain –in the heart of the country’s Rioja wine region – was completely overhauled in 2022 as part of an ambitious project to convert it into the Aurea Palacio de Correos, a stunning 5-star boutique hotel. The original neo-Baroque facade was preserved while the interior of the building was completely redesigned, blending Art Deco style with modern touches that work together seamlessly to create wonderfully elegant atmosphere.
The architects specified Stratobel Matelux Bronze 55.1 (300 m2) for the partition walls between the bathrooms and bedrooms, a perfect solution that adds a touch of sophistication to the interior, while combining aesthetics, privacy and security in a single product.
